Deposit

An advance deposit of two nights’ fare per cabin (one night’s fare if guest staying only one night), will guarantee your reservation. This may be paid by Visa, MasterCard or Discover. Balance for additional nights is due upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy

If your travel plans alter, you must inform us prior to three weeks before your scheduled arrival date. For individuals (two cabins or fewer), we will refund your deposit minus a $25 per cabin per night charge. For larger groups (three cabins or more), one cabin’s fare per night will be deducted from the refund. (For groups booking the entire property, please contact us for your specific cancellation policy.) Cancellations of 21 days or less, including early departures: full fare is charged under all circumstances.

Making a reservation implies you agree with the cancellation policy.

We are a very small operation in a very remote area trying to make a living in a very short season, therefore this cancellation policy must be strictly enforced. Please do not ask for special exceptions. We hope your trip to Alaska is without any untoward event, but we cannot be responsible for weird weather, war between Upper Slobbovia and Lower Durkadurkistan, road conditions, Uncle Albert's atherosclerosis, your anorak arriving in Angola rather than Anchorage, or a Mt. McKinley Flyover Fouled Up By Fog (Again).

You have a lot of money tied up in your trip to Alaska. We definitely recommend trip insurance!

Reservation Changes

Changes in the dates of your reservation can be made without a fee prior to 30 days before your original scheduled arrival date, subject to availability. If within 30 days of arrival, a $25 fee will be assessed. If a change is made one week before your original scheduled arrival date, a $50 fee will be assessed.

Check-in and Check-Out

Check-in is from 4 to 8 pm.

Check-out is 10 am.

We are a very busy homestead and cannot accommodate early check-ins before 4. We need time every day after cleaning cabins to tend to our grounds, flowers, greenhouse, and other projects to keep our property looking ship-shape and exceptional for you. Please call and let us know if you will be arriving late: we are a small operation and cannot staff a night desk.
