I call this one "Merlin Christmas to you!". But as you can see in this
photo, that's not snow, but babydown on this still very juvenile Merlin. I have a merlin nest in the spruce tree growing out of the deck by my front door. Another very sought-after bird, and all I have to do is walk out my door!
