"A spectacular view, chilly mornings, swirling river waters that whisper of fish -- a part of Alaska we had not visited on prior trips. We loved it all. The remoteness reminds us of places we've been in Colorado, New Mexico, and the northeastern coast of Canada. The harsh winters astound us --almost as much as the fact that people live and thrive in them. Jenny's gift shop is unique and pleasing. The cabins are clean and cozy. Denali (McKinley) has no winning edge over these views. And the peaceful, restful modern-day cabins are practically palatial.
